Happy July 1, 2025!!
Welcome to the Wekiva High School Band 2025-26 year! We are 7 days away from our Leadership team retreat and 21 days from our annual summer band camp! I want to welcome all students and parents to one of the best programs in Florida. This month marks the first of many months of fun and amazing learning opportunities. I’m excited to see and work with some amazing individuals on the planet. Music for this season has been uploaded to UDB Beam. Please take the time to go through and start practicing your parts. Instructions on how to create your account using the document provided below. Also, do not forget to start physical exercises to get the body accustomed to physical activities. In addition, if you haven’t already done so, please upload your physical and for those of you new to band upload your ECG form too. Be on the lookout for information as the next upcoming weeks quickly approaches. For those of you who have not registered for the New Orleans Sugar Bowl Trip please take the time to register using the document provided below. Payments can be made by using the schoolpay link at the top of the band app. Congratulations to those of you that have been to and are attending summer band camps at various colleges and universities! Also, remember to pay your Fairshare. You may access it from www.wekivaband.com This year band fairshare is $400. Payments for fareshare can be made starting now using schoolpay. I’m looking forward to seeing the Student Leadership Team on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11:00am-4:30pm and Full band (everyone) on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 8:00am-4:30pm. And lastly, there is a mandatory band parent meeting on Monday, July 21,2025 at 6:30pm inside the band room.
