Music is the Key!
Wekiva High School’s Band program is a multi-tiered system that takes kids just beginning in the music world to accomplished players in classical, contemporary and jazz. Help us keep this wonderful program available to the students of Wekiva High School. Become a sponsor or donate now.
Our Ensembles
Marching Band
Marching season starts at the end of July in Band Camp and extends until the MLK Parade in mid-January.
Jazz Band
Jazz Band students range from freshman through senior year and are taught to improvise and explore the jazz genre.
Concert Ensembles
Concert Ensembles include Wind Ensemble, Concert Band and Beginning Band and focus on symphonic literature.
Color Guard
Colorguard has 2 seasons – Fall (with Marching band and Indoor (without Marching Band).
Volunteering
As with any large program, the Wekiva High School Band program needs many volunteers to help run the program. Come join our parents, guardians and community volunteers that make this program the success it has become and in the process make memories that will for a lifetime…
Pay Your Dues
Wekiva Band Students are required to pay band dues each year. Opportunities exist to earn credits through fundraisers throughout the year. The link below will take you to SchoolPay.com to pay all or a portion of your student’s outstanding fees. Please check Cuttime.net for student balances.
